I NEED A INFORMATIVE BOOK ON TATTOOING!!!!!

Im was offered an apprenticeship with a tattoo studio last year but wasnt sure if i wanted to be a tattooist! Now i know i do, im saving up and working on my portfolio before i go in and ask them if the offer is still open. Ive been trying to find and informative book on tattooing, a kinda starter guide to tattooing. All that ive managed to find are books based around the culture and history which im intrested in but i want to read up on the tech side of it before i 100% decide being a tattooist is what i want to do, and also have a little ground before i start.. Any ideas on some good imformative books i can get my hands on.

does any tattoo shop let you becom a tattooist?

i just want to know if any tattoo shop will let you become a tattooist. cause i am going to try and become one and i just need to know if there is a specific one or any tattoo shop will hire you?
